Who and Where
Who and Where
This work of mine is an installation that captures the quiet longing for familiarity in unfamiliar spaces. The work was projected in a narrow, long room with a street-like essence between the projection and the wall. By subtly merging elements of Anarkali, Lahore, and Kathmandu, Nepal, it reflects how memories and emotions shape our perception of place. Though miles apart, these cities evoke a similar warmth, narrow streets, and the of daily life of people, yet their differences in language, attire, and signage gently remind us of the spaces we have left behind.
