Watching and Being Watched

This work of mine allows the viewers to experience what it's like being watched without actually being watched. This work of mine explores the concept of gaze in a two-way installation, where one person can sit on the chair inside an enclosed space while various spectators' peek through the hole. The person sitting inside sees the "eye" of another person peeking through the hole, while the person from another side "peeking" can only see their reflection of an eye, which also makes the participant of my work experience watching without being watched
