Ephemeral Atmosphere

Ephemeral Atmosphere
Exhibited: Haam Gallery, Lahore
Exhibited as part of The Volume of Air Trapped Between the Earth and the Sky, Ephemeral
Atmosphere explores the fragility and impermanence of life through the metaphor of alveoli—the tiny air
sacs in our lungs that sustain us. The installation consists of two layers: a cluster of balloons that subtly
rotate with the movement of viewers and a projection of inflating and deflating balloons, synchronized with
the sound of breathing.
The work draws a connection to the uncertainty of life, not just in today’s world, where unpredictability is a
common experience from the very beginning. The movement, sound, and visuals come together to create a
moment that reminds viewers of how delicate and ever-changing life is.
